This is a tour you will not want to miss.
The Center for Grace and Healing was envisioned to meet the growing needs of students pursuing careers in healthcare and the sciences and mathematics while creating a modern learning environment that reflects the university's mission of serving others through Christ-centered education.
For years, students and faculty worked diligently in facilities that faithfully served the university's needs and now there is a place with specialized spaces and technology available in this new center. The Center for Grace and Healing represents a transformative investment in student success, providing hands-on learning opportunities that more closely mirror the environments graduates will encounter in their professional careers. Among the building's distinctive features are high-fidelity nursing simulation laboratories, an impressive suite of modern equipment for the sciences and mathematics, innovative study and collaboration spaces, and modern classrooms designed to support interactive learning.
"The Center for Grace and Healing represents far more than a new building," said Dr. Barbara C. McMillin, President of Blue Mountain Christian University. "It is a reflection of our commitment to preparing students to serve with both competence and compassion.”
As Blue Mountain Christian University opens the doors of the Center for Grace and Healing, the university celebrates not only the completion of a building but also the collective faith, vision, and generosity of a community that believes in the transformative power of Christian education.
The public is encouraged to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 6th, at 11:30 a.m., and remain afterward for guided tours beginning at 12:00p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the facility, learn about its innovative features, and celebrate this exciting new chapter in the life of Blue Mountain Christian University.
