Dean of the School of Business
POSITION SUMMARY: The Dean of Business is the chief administrative officer of the school that includes graduate and undergraduate programs. The role of the Dean includes both administrative and leadership functions. As such, his or her responsibilities are to have ultimate oversight of and accountability for administrative aspects of the operation of the school, to
represent the school and serve as its liaison with other administrative units within the University, and to provide leadership for the school in formulating long-range plans and assessment procedures based on a shared vision of the goals of the school.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-Time Position, Twelve-Month Appointment; Assignment to academic rank will be commensurate with experience and education.

REQUIREMENTS: The ability to articulate and support the Christian mission of the institution; earned doctorate in the discipline; preferred professional experience appropriate to the discipline; excellent computer and educational technology skills; proven administrative skills; ability to work relationally and collaboratively with internal and external constituents.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual will serve as the chief administrative officer of the School of Business including both administrative and departmental leadership functions; have ultimate oversight of and accountability for administrative aspects of the operation of the school; represent the school and serve as its liaison with other administrative units within the University; and provide leadership for the school in formulating strategic plans and assessment procedures based on a shared vision of the goals of the school and the University. The individual will teach a wide variety of undergraduate Business Administration courses and graduate courses included in the MBA. Among the courses taught may be Business Communications, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, and International Marketing. Applicant should exhibit both an interest in an ability to teach a wide variety of courses in an undergraduate business administration program and in the MBA. The candidate will work with other faculty members and students in curriculum development, student advising, and student placement. The individual will assist with recruitment and marketing the majors.

Director of Financial Aid
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Financial Aid plays a key leadership role in financial aid and is responsible for the overall supervision and administration of financial aid programs. The Director of Financial Aid is under direct supervision of the Vice-President for Enrollment Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
These responsibilities include but are not strictly limited to the following activities:
- Coordinates with the VP for Enrollment Services to development and implement strategies to optimize financial aid resources and student support
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, institutional policies, and accreditation requirements
- Supervises the daily operation of the financial aid office; train, supervise, and evaluate staff
- Collaborate with admissions, registrar, and business office to support student enrollment and retention
- Manages the financial aid software programs and the Department of Education electronic support system
- Lead and support financial aid system implementation and transitions
- Utilize technology and data analysis to enhance financial aid services and student outcomes
- Monitors, directs, and approves all Financial Aid awarded to students
- Communicates eligibility and delivers financial aid to students in a timely manner
- Monitors changes to all state/federal financial aid programs for institutional compliance
- Has a working knowledge of FERPA rules and regulations.
- Assesses the effectiveness of the financial aid process at BMCU
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains current policies and procedures for administering financial aid
- Makes presentations to groups concerning filing the FAFSA
- Lives a lifestyle congruent with the mission of the university both on and off campus.

Financial Aid Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director of Financial Aid in all aspects of
processing federal, state, and institutional financial aid for Blue Mountain Christian University
students. The Assistant will assist with daily financial aid operations, provide excellent customer
service, and support programs such as federal work-study and institutional scholarships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Provide front-line customer service to students and families regarding financial aid questions in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Support the management of the Federal Work-Study program and institutional scholarship programs.
- Guide students through the completion of financial aid forms and applications.
- Assist the Director and Associate Director of Financial Aid in all aspects of processing federal, state, and institutional financial aid.
- Provide customer service support to students and parents in securing financial aid.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Establishes/maintains files on all students receiving financial aid
- Assists in the awarding of all financial aid
- Processes paperwork required for file completion of students

International Student Admissions Coordinator
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The International Student Admissions Coordinator provides significant support to the University’s international students, as well as domestic students raised in other cultures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with international students, international transfer students, their families and sponsors to provide guidance and support regarding all aspects of the admissions process, including obtaining lawful entry into the U.S. upon obtaining admission within the chosen programs of study;
- Serves as DSO and maintains the University’s SEVIS information regarding international students
- Communicates with international students the final procedures after the admissions process is complete and students are accepted;
- Remain current on the requirements for admission for both freshman and transfer of international students;
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships and serves as point of contact for international students, advisors and counselors;
- Strictly honor the confidentiality, privacy and security of student records (FERPA) and other sensitive information according to applicable federal, state and University regulations, policies and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with all standards, policies and guidelines;
