Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
TESOL encompasses a wide range of teaching contexts. It involves understanding language structure, culture, communication, and effective teaching strategies to help learners develop their English proficiency for academic, professional, or everyday purposes.
Earn a B.A. in English, TESOL Emphasis
The special endorsement in ESL can be added as a supplement for either elementary and secondary education programs. Education majors with ESL endorsements are in high demand in Mississippi and the surrounding states.
