ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR

Spring 2016 student grades were made viewable through portals on bmcspace at 8:00 AM Thursday, May 12 to students with no Holds on their account.

FINANCIAL AID ANNOUNCEMENTS

The 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. If you will be attending school between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017, you need to do two things:
1. Get an FSA ID-(if you don’t have one) On May 10, 2015, the PIN was replaced with a username and password called the FSA ID. If you have not yet created an FSA ID go to http://fsaid.ed.gov and create one before you start your FAFSA. If you provide parental information on your FAFSA, your parent will need his or her own FSA ID.
2. Submit your FAFSA-go to http://fafsa.gov and click the green “Login” button. Use your FSA ID to start you FAFSA.
If you are a resident of Mississippi apply for state aid.

SUMMER II 2016 ONLINE TERM STUDENTS

*MARK your calendars when your online courses begin and end, and check your BMC email accounts regularly throughout the summer!!

•SUMMER II 2016 Online Students:

The SUMMER II 2016 Online Term begins JUNE 20. Training, Ordering Text, and Browser settings information were emailed to preregistered online students' BMC email accounts on MAY 23. Login instructions will be emailed to BMC email accounts on JUNE 20 to those students who made payment arrangements with the Office of Business Affairs.

WELLNESS CENTER HOURS

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM
Wednesday – 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday – 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM

PARKING TICKETS

All vehicles on campus should have a parking decal affixed to the left rear glass. Tickets will be issued to vehicles without a parking decal and tickets issued for violations will be charged to the students’ accounts. Tickets are $25 for each violation.

CHAPEL ABSENCES

Students are allowed six (6) chapel absences each semester. These six allowed absences will not be used in determining the chapel grade. For each chapel absence over the six (6) allowed, the student must make up the absence in order to have the absence cleared. Holds will be placed on the student’s account until the excessive chapel absences are cleared.

Students should complete the requirements for clearing the excessive chapel absence during the semester in which the absence occurs. Satisfactory chapel attendance is a graduation requirement. Diplomas will not be awarded until the chapel absences are cleared.
