Online Catalog – in the center of the page in the amber colored box. Use this link to locate books, DVDs, and periodicals in the library.
EBSCOhost Web Resources – for information on most topics.
EBSCOhost Tutorials and Ebooks – for assistance with EBSCOhost.
Gale Literary Index – to find literature sources. Go to the Help link for assistance on using the
Gale Volumes Available – for a list of titles and volumes the library has.
BMC E-books – for access to electronic books. (The tutorial is above)
Worldcat.org – to find items in other libraries. There is no tutorial/assistance link.
Get the bibliographic information for an interlibrary loan request.
Magnolia – for information on most topics. Contact us or your local Mississippi library for the password.
Facts On File – for general news, timely articles. Go to the Help link for assistance.
First Research – for business/industry related queries. There is no tutorial/assistance link.
JSTOR – for information on most topics. Go to the Help link for a tutorial on using the database.
Online Catalog Tutorial – an 11 minute tutorial on how to use the library’s catalog, E-books, how to reserve books and creating bookbags.
Citation Style Guides – for assistance in citing information and for citation styles.
Interlibrary Loan Form
– for requesting an item from another library. For a book, include the
author and title. For a specific edition or year, be sure to include
it. For an article, include author, title of article, name of
magazine/periodical, volume, number, year, and pages of the article.
When the book arrives, we will contact you. If it is an article, we
will e-mail it to you.
