TEACHER INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS

Applications for fall 2015 teacher internship (available in the Department of Education Office) must be on file by Wednesday, February 25. A required orientation is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, at three o’clock in the Education Building, Room 110

Parking Decals

Every vehicle on campus MUST have a Parking Decal affixed to it. If you have registered for your parking decal (even last semester), please come by Dean Moser’s office and pick it up. If you have NOT registered for your parking decal, please go to the website and register for your decal. Parking Tickets will be issued to vehicles not displaying a parking decal. Parking tickets are $25 each. Please take care of this matter as soon as possible to avoid receiving a ticket.

CENTER FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF LEARNING (CAL)

The Center for the Advancement of Learning (CAL) is open every day on the second floor of the Administration Building, Room 25. You may sign in and use the computers. Also, tutors are available in all basic subjects, such as English, history, science, and mathematics; in study skills; and for PRAXIS preparation. The tutoring is free of charge, so get some help today!

ONLINE STUDENTS

•Spring II 2015 Online Students:
The Spring II 2015 Online Term begins March 2. Training, Ordering Text, and Browser settings information will be emailed to preregistered online students' BMC email accounts on February 2. Login instructions will be emailed to BMC email accounts on March 2 to those students who made payment arrangements with the Office of Business Affairs.

CHAPEL ABSENCES

Students are allowed six (6) chapel absences each semester. These six allowed absences will not be used in determining the chapel grade. For each chapel absence over the six (6) allowed, the student must make up the absence in order to have the absence cleared. Holds will be placed on the student’s account until the excessive chapel absences are cleared.

Students should complete the requirements for clearing the excessive chapel absence during the semester in which the absence occurs. Satisfactory chapel attendance is a graduation requirement. Diplomas will not be awarded until the chapel absences are cleared.

RELOCATION OF CLASSES FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2015

Blue Mountain College will be hosting a Math-Science Tournament on the campus on Tuesday, February 10, and will therefore relocate the following classes on that day:
   9:25 - 10:40 a.m.
      BU348A, E-Commerce Marketing, will meet in Fisher/Washburn Hall, Room 217
      HI211B, Modern U.S. History, will meet in Lowrey Administration Building, Room 30
      RL201A, New Testament II, will meet in Lowrey Administration Building Auditorium

   10:50 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.
      CJ420A, Introduction to Forensic Science, will meet in Lowrey Administration Building, Room 30
      PY441A, Abnormal Psychology, will meet in Lowrey Administration Building, Room 24
