ATTENTION 2015 CANDIDATES FOR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES! All students who expect to complete degree requirements by December 2014, May 2015, or August 2015 must submit an application for degree to the Office of the Registrar by Friday, November 21. Information concerning commencement and the application for degree process as well as the application form are posted at www.bmc.edu. Click on the ACADEMICS tab and then the OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR tab. Scroll down the page and click on the Application for Degree link. Carefully read the information items and then complete and submit the Application for Degree. Contact the Office of the Registrar if you have questions concerning the application for degree process.

Students are allowed six (6) chapel absences each semester. These six allowed absences will not be used in determining the chapel grade. For each chapel absence over the six (6) allowed, the student must make up the absence in order to have the absence cleared. Holds will be placed on the student’s account until the excessive chapel absences are cleared. Transcripts and diplomas will not be awarded until the chapel absences are cleared.
Students should complete the requirements for clearing the excessive chapel absence during the semester in which the absence occurs. Satisfactory chapel attendance is a graduation requirement.
BSU Spaghetti Supper- November 13th 4:30-6PM at the BSU. Cost $10/ticket. Eat-in at the BSU or take-out. Help support summer missions! Prime Time with Michael Kelly- November 19th- 6:30 PM at Modena Lowrey Berry Auditorium. Prayer Time-Monday’s 2:20PM at the BSU with Jessie Kellum Community Missions- Visit the Nursing Home with Andrew Higdon. Thursday’s 2:30. Meet in the SUB. Applications are available on the BSU website now for the Spring Break in San Francisco mission trip March 14-19. Cost is $1000. Interviews will be scheduled as applications come in. REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2015 SEMESTER
Faculty advisors will be enrolling current Blue Mountain College students in spring 2015 classes as follows: Seniors – week of October 20 Juniors – week of October 27 Sophomores - week of November 3 Freshmen – week of November 10 Students are asked to follow instructions listed below: 1. Each degree-seeking student must meet with his/her advisor to obtain approval of his/her spring 2015 class schedule. Advisors will then enroll the student in his/her spring courses. Non-degree students will enroll in classes through the Office of the Registrar. 2. Each class (seniors, juniors, sophomores, freshmen) will be expected to complete the enrollment process for the spring semester within a week's time. Space is limited in some classes so it is imperative that each class pre-register within the deadline given. If you have questions concerning the enrollment process, please contact the Office of the Registrar. Registration for the spring semester is not complete until each student has obtained clearance from the Office of Business Affairs. An announcement will be made in the near future when the deadlines are set. (Watch the Blue Mountain College Web Site for specific details concerning registration deadlines.) Students who complete registration after the announced registration period will be assessed a late registration fee. Note: The spring class schedule should be available by the early part of the week of October 20.
