Office of Business Affairs – Fall 2016 Payment/Payment Plan

Students registering for Fall 2016 need to complete and submit the three required forms and pay tuition, fees, room and board or complete a payment plan with Mrs. Pam Pharr.

BMC MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION

The BMC Ministerial Association has its initial meeting on Wednesday 17 August, 12:30 in Lowrey Fellowship Hall. This is for members and prospective members. Please come and join us for eating, Meeting, and greeting!

COMMUTER STUDENT IDs

Commuter students can pick up their student ID cards in the Office of Student Services.

FINANCIAL AID ANNOUNCEMENTS

Financial Aid is now being posted. Please check your email for information on accepting and declining your aid or reducing your loan amount. Login to your BMC Space to view your financial aid.

The 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available. If you will be attending school between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017, you need to do two things:
1. Get an FSA ID-(if you don’t have one) On May 10, 2015, the PIN was replaced with a username and password called the FSA ID. If you have not yet created an FSA ID go to http://fsaid.ed.gov and create one before you start your FAFSA. If you provide parental information on your FAFSA, your parent will need his or her own FSA ID.
2. Submit your FAFSA-go to http://fafsa.gov and click the green “Login” button. Use your FSA ID to start you FAFSA.
If you are a resident of Mississippi apply for state aid.

• MTAG – application dates 1/1 – 9/15
• MESG – application dates 1/1 – 9/15

WELLNESS CENTER UPDATES

Wellness Center Hours have changed to the following:
Monday through Saturday open 5 AM to 11 PM
Sunday open 2 PM to 5 PM

Wellness Center Policy Change:
All BMC Faculty and Staff now have the benefit of their spouse and children (living at home, older than 14) being able to use the Wellness Center for free. All they will need to do is fill out the paperwork and pay a $10 card fee.

Both changes have been made to promote a culture of WELLNESS on our Blue Mountain College campus, and to make healthy fitness choices more available to our BMC family.

PARKING TICKETS

All vehicles on campus should have a parking decal affixed to the left rear glass. Tickets will be issued to vehicles without a parking decal and tickets issued for violations will be charged to the students’ accounts. Tickets are $25 for each violation.

CHAPEL ABSENCES

Students are allowed six (6) chapel absences each semester. These six allowed absences will not be used in determining the chapel grade. For each chapel absence over the six (6) allowed, the student must make up the absence in order to have the absence cleared. Holds will be placed on the student’s account until the excessive chapel absences are cleared.

Students should complete the requirements for clearing the excessive chapel absence during the semester in which the absence occurs. Satisfactory chapel attendance is a graduation requirement. Diplomas will not be awarded until the chapel absences are cleared.

HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS


Resident students should check their BMC Email account for a rooming assignment letter which includes a schedule of first week activities.
