Parking Decals

Every vehicle on campus MUST have a Parking Decal affixed to it. If you have registered for your parking decal (even last semester), please come by Dean Moser’s office and pick it up. If you have NOT registered for your parking decal, please go to the website and register for your decal. Parking Tickets will be issued to vehicles not displaying a parking decal starting the week of January 18-24, 2015. Parking tickets are $25 each. Please take care of this matter as soon as possible to avoid receiving a ticket.

ONLINE STUDENTS

•Spring II 2015 Online Students:
The Spring II 2015 Online Term begins March 2. Training, Ordering Text, and Browser settings information will be emailed to preregistered online students' BMC email accounts on February 2. Login instructions will be emailed to BMC email accounts on March 2 to those students who made payment arrangements with the Office of Business Affairs.

Cycling II

All students enrolled in Cycling II class should pick up their materials in the Office of the Registrar IMMEDIATELY. If there are questions concerning the materials, you need to address them to Miss Johnnie Armstrong in Simmons Field House #2 (Ext. 406; jarmstrong@bmc.edu).

CHAPEL ABSENCES

Students are allowed six (6) chapel absences each semester. These six allowed absences will not be used in determining the chapel grade. For each chapel absence over the six (6) allowed, the student must make up the absence in order to have the absence cleared. Holds will be placed on the student’s account until the excessive chapel absences are cleared.

Students should complete the requirements for clearing the excessive chapel absence during the semester in which the absence occurs. Satisfactory chapel attendance is a graduation requirement. Diplomas will not be awarded until the chapel absences are cleared.

BSU ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Spring Break in San Francisco mission trip is March 7-13. The last day to apply is January 19th Cost is $875 ($500 is due February 2, and $375 is due February 27.) Interviews will be scheduled as applications come in. (The BSU website can be found under the current students’ column of the BMC website.)

Sign up for Experiencing God Bible Study by Henry Blackaby set to start in January. Led by Mrs. Tracy Moser.
Missionaries Jeff and Melva Clark will be speaking at Noonday on January 22 at 12:35 PM and in chapel on Friday, January 23. They will be available for a Q&A session at 2:30 PM at the BSU on January 23 for those who have interest in serving as career missionaries home or abroad.

MA Meeting

The MA meets each Wednesday at 12:30 in LMBC. See you there!

Intramural Council Meeting

The Intramural Council will meet Tuesday, January 20th at 6:00 PM in the classroom downstairs in the gym. Please be present and on time. We meet only 30 minutes.

Koinonia Meeting

Koinonia meets each Wednesday at 12:30 in Broach BSU. See you there!

SPRING REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Registration deadlines/information for Spring 2015 are posted at www.bmc.edu. Click on the “Register Now for Spring 2015” link and follow the GPS for Continuing Students.

Note that the registration deadline for students enrolling in Term I online courses which began January 5, 2015, or in a combination of Term I online and on-ground courses (on-ground courses begin January 13, 2015) is December 18, 2014. The registration deadline for students enrolling only in on-ground courses which begin January 13, 2015, is January 8, 2015. Continuing students will not be required to submit any registration forms unless changes to address or vehicle registration need to be made. Tuition, fees, and/or housing charges must be paid or payment arrangements must be made with the Office of Business Affairs by the above published deadlines. Contact the Office of Business Affairs at 662-685-4771, Ext. 133, for payment information.

(Tuition and fees for online-only students must be paid in full by registration deadline.)

Residential students who have not received clearance to register by the Office of Business Affairs by January 8, 2015, should not plan to move into campus housing until clearance has been granted. Residential halls will not open until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015. A $200 late registration fee will be assessed if fees are not paid or arrangements are not made with the Office of Business Affairs by the published deadlines. Students can confirm that all registration steps are complete by viewing document tracking on their student portal at www.bmcspace.com.

Financial aid priority deadlines are posted at “Register Now for Spring 2015” link.

ONLINE STUDENTS

MARK your calendars when your online courses begin and end, and check your BMC email accounts regularly!
