I hope that your Monday went well and that your Tuesday is off to a great start. This week affords us the wonderful opportunity to enjoy another great BMC theatre production. The Miracle Worker opens tonight at 7:30 with additional evening performances Thursday through Saturday. Check our website for details on day-time performances. Best wishes to the cast and crew!
The basketball Toppers will close their home season this Thursday evening against Spring Hill College. Please plan to come out and support both teams and congratulate our seniors. Both teams will end the regular season on the road Saturday against Loyola. The softball Toppers are in action at home today; the baseball Toppers play at home Thursday and Friday. Both golf teams are involved in the Union tournament today.
With so many options, we’ll need to plan carefully in order to take in as many events as possible!
Thursday morning we will welcome the participants in the chaplaincy training program led by Bowen Johnson.
Friday will be a special time on our campus as our Board of Trustees will gather for the annual February meeting. Please pray for our Board as they conduct the business of the College.
Saturday we will host the meeting of Delta Kappa Gamma as well as the meeting of our own Alumni Association Board. We extend a warm welcome to each of these groups and hope their time on our campus is productive.
I close with a word of gratitude to the BMC Chorale, to Dr. Greg Long, and Mrs. Laura Long. Sunday evening the chorale combined forces with the choir of North Oxford Baptist Church to present a marvelous evening of praise and worship. We are grateful to North Oxford for this opportunity.
Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
