Blessings for a great week!
Good Monday Morning to All!

I send my greetings this morning from Atlanta, where Dr. Enzor and I are attending the annual SACSCOC meeting. We will return to campus on Wednesday. Best wishes to students and faculty alike as exams begin today and continue through Thursday.

Corinth-area residents are invited to a meet and greet session with representatives from our faculty and staff from 4:00 until 6:00 on Thursday at the Northeast Mississippi Community College campus in Corinth (2759 South Harper Road). Students interested in completing their education at Blue Mountain College are encouraged to stop by and learn about the options that will soon be available. Representatives from the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, and Admissions will be on hand to assist students as will faculty from selected departments. Please encourage anyone you know who might be interested to come by and visit.

I am delighted this morning to announce that Lynn Gibson will be joining the BMC community after the Christmas break as our VP of Enrollment Services. Lynn comes to BMC after serving ten years at NEMCC as Registrar and Director of Enrollment Services. His prior experience includes serving as Coordinator of the UT Martin McNairy County Center in Selmer, Tennessee, and as Assistant Director of Admissions at Union University. Lynn holds an M.S. from the University of Memphis and a B.S. from Union. Lynn and his wife Paula reside in Selmer. Welcome, Lynn!

As Lynn assumes leadership of admissions and financial aid, Jack Moser will continue to provide excellent leadership as VP of Student Services. Austin Kimbrough will continue to work in recruiting as he takes on new responsibilities as half-time assistant Athletic Director. Many thanks to Jack and to Austin for their outstanding leadership during a period of transition.

The Topper basketball teams will end the pre-Christmas season on the road. On the 14th the men will take on Lyon while the women visit Tougaloo. The men will participate in the Morthland College Classic December 20-21.

Many thanks to the Memphis Area Alumni Association for providing treats for students during exam week. This is much appreciated!

Keep our students in your prayers as they study, take exams, and then travel home.

Blessings for a great week!
