Greetings on Monday afternoon! The first full week of class is off to a wonderful and warm start. I can’t imagine a better way to begin the week and the semester than with the inspiring message delivered this morning by Dr. Ronald Meeks in chapel. I know that we are going to be enlightened and encouraged by the many speakers who will examine what it means to “Love the Lord with All Your Mind.”
Let me encourage everyone to attend the memorial concert tomorrow evening honoring the memory of Mr. G. Edward Ludlow. The concert begins at 7:00 in the sanctuary at Lowrey Memorial. The Blue Mountain College Chorale will perform as will former organ students of Professor Ludlow, including Betty Lowry Sisk, Sandy Freeman Coutoumanos, Lisa Johnson, and Bevin Gregory Wilder. President Emeritus E. Harold Fisher will deliver a memorial address.
On Wednesday we will welcome to our campus Mr. Mike Hall, Commissioner of the Southern States Athletic Conference.
Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare Friday’s chapel address.
Dr. Barbara C. McMillin President
