Dead Week 2016
Good Morning,
It is the beginning of “Dead Week,” which means that BMC students are focusing their time and attention on finishing strong. Best wishes to all who are laboring to present final projects, to polish final performances, and to complete research papers!

If you need a break from your studies, come out this afternoon at 3:00 to support the softball team and/or at 4:00 to cheer on the participants in the international/USA soccer match. Tomorrow plan your break time to coincide with the night of worship led by our gospel choir at 6:00 in the Modena Lowrey Berry auditorium. You will be blessed, refreshed, and rejuvenated!

The baseball Toppers are on the road this week; SSAC softball tournament action takes place this weekend.

Allow me to congratulate once again the family of Dr. James E. Buchanan, Jr. upon the naming of our business office suite in his honor. We are proud for his legacy of service to be honored in this way. If you haven’t seen the newly remodeled suite, stop by and check it out. Many thanks to Joyce Peters, Stan Irwin, Amy Thurmond, Tommy Peters, and the NMR staff for all that you did to prepare for Saturday’s celebration.

Congratulations to Rebekah Smith, to Dr. Nancy Kerns, to Mr. Bill Dowdy, and to all the contributors to the 2016 Mountain Breeze. Kudos as well to Brianna Edgeworth, to Dr. Elizabeth Crews, and to the entire staff of 2016 Mountaineer. Thank you for preserving the many memories made in 2015-16 at BMC.

Finish strong!
