I bring you greetings at the beginning of what will surely be a very busy week at BMC. The week begins with our regularly scheduled faculty and staff meeting at 3:30 this afternoon and concludes with our semi-annual meeting of the full Board of Trustees on Friday. We welcome Bro. Tommy Vinson to campus today as our chapel speaker and look forward to hearing from graduate Bre Anna Heard on Friday.
Today through Wednesday future Topper cheerleaders will hone their skills at the mini cheer camp taking place in the auditorium at 3:45.
The Topper softball team (4-4) will be in action at home on Tuesday for a doubleheader against Crowley’s Ridge before hitting the road later in the week to take on Williams Baptist. The baseball Toppers will take on Calumet College in Ripley on Friday and Saturday. The guys are off to a great start with an 8-4 record. The basketball Toppers will make their last home stand of the season Thursday and Saturday. Plan to be here, especially on Saturday, to honor our seniors.
Start clearing your calendar now for BMC’s spring production of The Taffetas on March 1,3,4, and 5.
I enjoyed being with the Chorale at First Baptist in Baldwyn last evening and look forward to joining Dr. Meeks next Sunday night in Walnut for the January Bible Study attended by Falkner, Tiplersville, Providence, and Walnut Baptist.
Join me today in praying for our trustees as they prepare to gather on campus on Friday. We are thankful for their service to Blue Mountain College.
