Greetings to each on you this Wednesday afternoon!
I was out of town on Monday and missed the opportunity to wish each one well as the process of taking and grading finals began. I pray that everyone is holding up as we near the finish line. We look forward to Dr. Jim Futral being with us on Saturday as we conclude what has been an outstanding year at BMC. We trust that it will be a day of great celebration for each of our 2015 graduates, their families, and friends. Included in the largest graduating class to date (approximately 160) are our first four students to complete the business administration program online. Kudos to each of them for this special accomplishment!
The close of another academic year always brings with it a host of transitions, several of which have already been announced. Dr. Teresa Arrington will be recognized in the 10:00 service Saturday as she begins her retirement from BMC. Michelle Hall, Director of Financial Aid, will be leaving the College in June as she and her family will be relocating to Kansas. Kevin Barefield will transition from coaching softball to coaching golf, while retaining his role as Director of Information Technology. Please join me in wishing each of these members of the BMC family the best as they assume new roles, some here and some in new places.
May God order our steps toward a strong finish to the 2014-15 year!
