President

At Blue Mountain College, we are focusing our strengths and building upon them to position this institution to thrive in today's highly competitive environment.

Since its founding in 1873, Blue Mountain College has been about the building of people of Christian character who are equipped to become builders themselves.

All of the following areas in which Blue Mountain College is building are based upon the reason for our existence as an institution of higher education.  We exist to provide a quality liberal arts education delivered in a Christian environment where the development of Christian character is a core value.

The College is making significant progress in recruiting and enrollment to reach the goal of 600 students (BMC Vision).  The addition of graduate study and becoming fully a integrated coeducational institution, along with the addition of intercollegiate athletics for men, are significant enrollment builders.
The College is becoming more sensitive to environmental factors which promote healthy, productive living on campus as well as the highest quality of learning, both inside and outside the classroom.

The College is extending its area of influence beyond quality degree programs to partner with other entities to make an impact on educational attainment in the region.

As a part of its mission and with a desire to be known as a premier institution of service, the College continues to engage the campus in activities and experiences which promote service above self.

The College is connecting internally with the students we serve and externally with individuals and organizations who support, in a variety of ways, an institution that makes a difference.

The College has not deviated from this purpose and continues to build character.  We simply must ensure that the lives of the next generation of students will reflect integrity.  Resources are necessary to building programs and people.  Please consider how you can join with us in supporting S.O.S. (something of significance) at Blue Mountain College.
