About the Department:

 Supporting the overall mission of Blue Mountain College, the Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies provides programs of study, practical experiences, and extracurricular activities centered on applied knowledge about the fields of human movement and human performance.  The department offers two majors and three minors in order to prepare students for initial service in teaching, coaching, and wellness settings.  Graduates will have exposure to complementary fields of study in education, psychology, and biology following their mastery of core curriculum content.
