Welcome to the Office of
Institutional Advancement

The mission of the Office of Institutional Advancement at Blue Mountain College is:

• To help create an understanding of the mission, vision, and accomplishments of Blue Mountain College;
• To secure the necessary support to sustain and advance the College; and
• To assist donors in finding ways to give to the College which reflect their philosophy of philanthropy.

While a large focus of the Office of Institutional Advancement is securing funds for the institution, the ultimate goal is to form meaningful and abiding relationships between Blue Mountain College and its supporters.

The Office of Institutional Advancement seeks to facilitate the support of graduates of the College, denominational constituents, as well as other donors from the larger community through a variety of ways, including:

• Obtaining Annual Fund gifts from a large base of constituents
• Organizing programs and services that engage supporters of the College,
• Obtaining major current gifts for capital projects,
• Obtaining consistent giving to the endowment, including endowded scholarships; and,
• Assisting constituents in planning their estate gifts to benefit the College.

It is our desire to create within current donors and to attract potential donors who derive personal satisfaction by giving to Blue Mountain College so that they are motivated to continue to think of the College as they make philanthropic decisions.
