Dr. Douglas Bain
The Department of Biblical Studies provides the opportunity
for earning the Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies or the
Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry. Both degrees draw from
the same repertoire of biblical courses, with the essential difference
being in core requirements. The BA degree has foreign language
requirements, with Greek recommended, whereas the BS degree has
additional science requirements in place of the foreign language. This
difference in core requirements does imply a more academically oriented
course of study for the BA in Biblical Studies. The course “Introduction
to Christian Ministry” is offered for both degrees but is required for
the BS in Christian Ministry.
