Some 13 northeast Memphis area alums met Saturday, March 6 at FRESH SLICES DELI in Bartlett for a fun time of fellowship and BMC news.  "I'm so glad you guys met here!"  said Sharron Finney, BMC Class of 1977.  "My morning is so full.  I'm trying to catch all my little students in their Upwards games!  I could run over here for lunch and see you guys between games.  That was cool." 

Hosted by Emily Crump Hayes, BMC 1979 and Audrey Snow Caldwell, BMC 1971, the group enjoyed visiting with one brave alumnus - JERRY BEATY, BMC 1974!  He managed to enjoy himself among the chatter of the alumnae and was able to join forces with Pete Ruby, who joined the group with his wife, Katerina Miliopulos Ruby, BMC 1962. 

Lea Bennett, on hand from the Office of Alumni Affairs at BMC, gave a brief report from the campus, opening with a BMC Trivia session then gave details regarding the new alumni website, enrollment, and the upcoming events, including HOMECOMING on THE HILL 2010:  "Sowing Seeds ~ Bearing Fruit" June 3-5.  A good time was had by all.
