| BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – Thirty-nine seniors in the Blue Mountain
College Department of Education are gaining valuable classroom
experience this spring in 20 area public schools. “Blue Mountain
College has a strong reputation in education and our teacher intern
program has been crucial to that success,” said Dr. Lela Smith Hale,
Director of Clinical Experiences in Education at BMC. “The
knowledge and the experience that our student teachers gain from being
in the classrooms is invaluable. The relationship we have with our area
schools really adds to our program and enables us to continue graduating
well-prepared teachers.”
