BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – For the second time this season, Anna Brooke Page has been named the TranSouth Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week.
Page, a 6-0 junior forward from Tishomingo, Miss., led the Toppers to a 3-0 week by averaging 24.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
Her hot shooting included hitting 71 percent (29-41) from the field and a perfect 16-16 from the foul line.
Two of the wins came on the road where Page had 25 points against Judson and 20 against Fisk.
In the win at Judson she hit 9-of-10 from the field and hit all seven free throw attempts.
Page’s best outing was a 29 point and 12 rebound effort in a 89-61 win over Mid-Continent at home on Saturday.
The Toppers are now 11-6 on the season and play host to Tougaloo College at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
