For the second year, the Blue Mountain College Lady Toppers have stepped beyond the basketball court to try and help others through the winter months.
The Lady Toppers recently collected and donated to The Least of These Ministries in Memphis, Tenn., a load of coats, blankets and sleeping bags.
“This is a project that our players began and they work hard to make it happen,” said BMC coach Lavon Driskell. “We work awfully hard at basketball and academics, but our players are well aware that there’s even more that needs to be done. I’m really proud of them for what they’re doing, and just proud to be a part of this team.”
