Tracy Moser was recently honored with a surprise celebration for 25 years of service as the director of the Baptist Student Union at Blue Mountain College.
Nearly 100 of Moser’s current and former students, as well as members of the BMC faculty and staff, were on hand for the affair – with testimonials from current students Kayce Carr and Gabe Dence and former students Melissa Jarrell Scott and Jason Webb.
“It was a complete surprise,” Moser said. “I had no idea this was happening, zero. I was standing there giving orders like I always do up until the last minute. It was quite an honor, but it really was a complete surprise. I was, and am, very moved by this.”
Moser was presented with a book of letters and emails from her BMC-BSU Family. Lea Bennett, director of alumni affairs, presented Moser with a certificate of appreciation signed 30 current and former board members, and made a contribution to BMC in Moser’s honor.
